Pier Laser Med Spa recommends using a daily regimen of a mild scrub, and a moisturizer, especially with dry skin. If you have healthy skin already, you may not need to be applying potions and lotions daily. We recommend using about half the amount of soap that you currently use, preventing drying out your skin and using your natural skin oils as a moisturizer. If you have acne and very oily skin, before utilizing expensive Salicylic Acid Peels, Lotions, Blu Light , PDT or Laser treatments, you should try Benzoyl Peroxide (like Clearasil) or a course of Minocycline or Tetracycline Oral Antibiotics or Topical Clindamycin Antibiotics. There is no reason that you need "designer" potions or serum on your skin. Walmart has Cetaphil Cleanser and Moisturizer which is cheap and good if needed. We recommend going with any common less expensive regimen, unless you are intolerant to any of the ingredients and need to try out another. Johnson and Johnson skin care products are as good as many of those hyped at "boutique" med spas or dermatology practices. Often "less is more". For large pores resistent to conservative measures, microdermabrasion and peels (chemical or laser) will do the trick. |

The best way to attain healthy looking skin is to have healthy skin. Keep healthy, avoid stress and environmental irritants to your skin.
