Thin or shapeless lips can be plumped and given definition using hylauronic acid dermal fillers, such as Juvederm® or Restylane®.
Large wrinkles around the lips can be improved or eliminated with these same dermal fillers.
We suggest going easy on the lips with only a mild correction initially, as you can always add more filler, and a two staged approach lets you avoid overdoing it. You don't want to have lips that look "done".
We use the Erbium Laser to improve the perioral wrinkles that are so noticeable on smokers, that also can be seen on some nonsmokers. We suggest this be performed prior to an attempt to treat those wrinkles with fillers.
